I’m based out of Southern Alberta, Canada, where the wind doesn’t quit, the winters hit hard, and nothing in the outdoors comes easy. That’s exactly why I love it.

Most of my time is spent out in the field, hunting, scouting, or covering ground most people wouldn’t bother with. Whether it’s pushing through deep snow, glassing wide-open river bottoms, or setting up in brutal wind, it’s all part of the process. Around here, you earn every opportunity you get.

My content is built around real hunts and real conditions. No fluff, no shortcuts. If it’s cold, you’ll see it. If the wind wrecks the audio, it stays. If it takes days to make something happen, that’s the story. Because that’s what this lifestyle actually looks like.

I focus on hunting, fishing, catch-and-cook adventures, and time spent in the kind of country that tests you. Everything is rooted in Southern Alberta, unpredictable weather, big landscapes, and no guarantees. I also do some travelling to other parts of the county to experience their wilderness. I put a lot of value on gear that works when it matters, not just what looks good.

Family is a big part of this life. Some of the best days I’ve had are spent outdoors with my kids, teaching them how to move through the bush, respect wildlife, and understand where food comes from. That matters more than anything.

There’s also a hands-on side to what I do. I enjoy building, crafting, and working with gear, whether it’s ferro rods or developing ideas behind Rustic Roots Outdoors. It’s all about creating things that reflect this lifestyle: practical, durable, and built with purpose.
